I think what we can expect is that Republicans will take the House and Democrats will manage maybe to squeak by and keep the Senate, although I don't think they'll be expending their majority. So if more people are motivated to vote for Republicans, that means it doesn't matter if that candidate is Herschel Walker in Georgia or JD Vance in Ohio. None of this is really relevant. What's relevant is whether Republicans will vote for them. Joe Biden has made a real concerted effort to reanimate the idea that abortion is on the ballot,. but that does not seem certainly the issue that people are voting for.
