Ari Astra's direction here that's really important because he did the same in hereditary where did you get around to watching that I haven't seen that unfortunately. yeah it is completely spoiler-free but yeah hereditary it's also a horror movie there's also something bad that happens at the beginning to a character who enters into this stage of almost unimaginable grief and there's that the performances are somewhat similar.
