A lot of what you do in ceremonies is re training your shifting the ways that your subconscious operates, and then gives rise to your waking choices. And if you forgive someone who hurt you in a deep, complete way, and really prey on it, m then you can actually free yourself of the emotions that get attached to him or her. But then the integration is, once you've shaken up the snow globe, you have to build new grooves, or else you fall back into your old habits.
