What's the Problem With the Beltline?
LZ Granderson: The Beltline was captured as a public private redevelopment project. He says it's not the notion of green space that's the problem, but how it's built and weather folks prepare for its likely effects. LZ: It could have used those resources to build many small parks close to existing neighborhoods within already low income neighborhoods. But instead the idea was let's attract lots of high income people to this new place, he says. "That's what the Beltline turned into"
