The Teacher's Reward Is in Heaven

In Ghana, there's an notion that teachers' reward is in heaven. We think that teachers deserve better than we are experiencing now. The value of our salary have reduced to almost 50%. A new teacher will struggle. It's not like it was when I started a couple decades ago. For me, teaching, I say teaching is a calling. And actually, I like kids and so that's why I chose this path. Every day is new. Every day there's something exciting.
