Is Octavian a Pharaoh?

She casts herself as a pharaoh. So I think on lots of levels, she's seen as powerful and therefore dangerous by Octavian. It's quite telling that when he does conquer Anthony and Cleopatra and therefore Egypt, he kind of makes it a private province like it's his little garden. He never sends any senator there. Senators are not allowed to enter Egypt underOctavian. No governance at all either. Only equestrians from the next level can go and be his ambassador there. They talk about her largely as this malign force. She was very powerful in Rome and that's what makes her so dangerous to them.
