The Mystifying Effects of Social Rules on Shy Kids
When you have the closeness in the family, that helps you require or keep rather not acquire. Oftentimes what I've heard from kids who are self-identifies being on the spectrum is that actually they don't think the rules of social engagement make any sense. Why would you fake an emotion with someone you love? So there's something interesting about shyness and why thinking about why some children are more shy than others.
