Rumanian Book Pile - Who's on It?
Herta muller is an ethnic german from rumania who left, i think, in 19 87. The first of her books that i read was the first that was translated into english. Her writing is ering and grim and often brutal, and but very, very strong. Max bla, i must just ask georgina to come in on this. I don't know. Philip, we've picked up some fascinating strands, an sort of strings and strandser.
