The One and Only Doctor Bruce Lipton

He then produced breakthrough studies on the cell membrane, which revealed that this outer layer of the cell was an organic homologue of a computer chip—the cell’s equivalent of a brain. This led to insights about epigenetics and the effect of one’s environment on gene expression, most importantly that, “If the perception in your mind is reflected in the chemistry of your body, and if your nervous system reads and interprets the environment and then controls the blood’s chemistry, then you can literally alter cellular function by altering your thoughts.”
