The Importance of Corporate Carbon Footprinting in Climate Change Mitigation

I think right now the big issue is that it's just very confusing what is going on in the climate space and climate policy space in particular. Public policy has pretty much failed over the last three decades, so there's this increasing idea that it's up to business to solve climate change which is sort of a silly idea. As risk disclosure becomes mandatory, all that will really mean is that lawyers will be writing the risk disclosures. And climate risk is very easy to navigate and to sort of present whatever climate risk picture you want because who's to say you're really wrong? It's a tricky area and a confusing area. We could use a lot more clear guidance, but that has to be
