The Problem With Chrome Launching

Chrome had been set to launch, but it just didn't. What did launch was the Windows default's app settings page. It also happened when links were clicked in emails or apps. Google support forums also had multiple complaints that entire Chrome defaulting companies,. so massive organizations where for myriad of reasons everyone is set to have Chrome. Every machine in their organization had the same problem.
