The Influence of the Beatles on My Life
As a child, what would you have been doing? What were your kind of passions at that point? Passions would have been, I did like school. It went to nice schools and then friends around about football was a key thing. Pop music, culture generally because Liverpool's famous for being culturally rich. But the Beatles themselves then didn't have much of an influence. David Bowie for me. A lot of people. He was the great figure that influenced me both in terms of music but also anything he talked about when he became an obsessive firm. So if he was into something, I'd want to get into it.
