Is There Anything That Is Contingent?

Modern scientists are positivg that the universe was inflating before the big bang, and the universe time could be infinite. Is that a problem for classical theists, if infinite regress is true? A, no, no, it's not. The universe could be eternal, as an everlasting, infinite into the past, but it's still not going to answer the fundamental question of, why is there anything that is contingent? Ah, instead of nothing, instead. Right? So a to understand classical theism is to understand its neutrality on this consideration, right?
