The Importance of Self Custody on Bitcoin
Self custody is a security principle that was embedded in the white paper when big con was first educed to the world 13 years ago. I do not want my bitcoin fundamentally being owned by some other entity, right? All bitcoin, it is held on addresses, and there are keys to those addresses. And either your exchange or a centralized entity holds those keys, or you hold those keys. We're seeing more and more the importance of individuals holding their keys.
