The Case of Morrie Joseph

Morrie Joseph bought a Boeing 727 from American Airlines in 2002. The plane was parked at an airport in Angola for almost a year before he figured out what to do with it. According to the official story, this is when Joseph found a new buyer for the plane and sent Ben Padilla to fix it up. But according to this conspiracy, Joseph never actually planned to sell the 727. It was all a setup for his massive insurance fraud.
