You Never Argue Context With Someone
The trick is how do you figure out what the other person's goal is? Sometimes they might say it's one thing, but it might actually be another thing. So an important part of this is knowing your goals and then a part of that is aligning your goals with the other person. The fail safe here is if it's not being effective because they're not taking advantage of what you're offering in terms of their prosperity, then there's something else going on. If you want to inspire trust, do not argue context. Context is how each of us has developed our own sense of self and our own vision of how we see the world.
