The Military Airlift Command of Operation Baby Lift
Commercial aircraft chartered by private agencies disu the air flow. These actions not only wreaked havoc with the air lift scheduling, but also overloaded support facilities along the route between sygon and the united states. Although it was not officially part of operation baby lift, privately contracted civilian air lines made a significant contribution to the orphan air lift. During april and may of ninete 75 of the two thousand 894 orphans at arich united states had carried one thousand, 90 of them. But these contributions were not necessarily always seen as positive.
