The Importance of Nature Education in Education

I would like to see the outdoors and nature education kind of integrated into all forms of education, really simple ways in which you can see that happening. For instance, I studied GCSE biology many moons ago or whatever. But did I come out of that biology course knowing a single species of plant around me? Did I know a single bird? Absolutely not. We kind of teach all the sort of pointless abstract knowledge without teaching people what's literally around them,. why does it matter? How might you connect to it? So there are all kinds of opportunities I think to kind of reshape the curriculum to start helping build that culture of connection and care. And that goes beyond the kind of list
