i need your advice on something everybody says you can't improve at certain life scales after a certain age. A lot of people tend to have a more difficult time learning things in their older years has to partly do with just decreased nero plasticity and neurogenesis. I used to be very competitive chess player when i was younger. Now i'm starting to re enter that world, and i have a tournament coming up - didn't do so well. But i wonder if i need to up my physical and brain preparation in other ways than just studying chess.
