The Dark Side of Persuasion
There's that whole social pressure, isn't there? And in front of somebody, you want to be seen as a very pleasant person. We go along with what majority think, even though we may not actually think that ourselves. In the classic Solomon Ash experiment, where you get a group of people - they're all stooges. They're all working for you, except one person. But also they've been persuaded because everyone said one thing, we are social animals. It was early days. So they got a whole field in front of them. I know you probably could do this one today, actually.
