The Importance of Jokes
When students graduate in New Zealand universities when I was there a week long festival to celebrate graduation, we called it capping week. One of the traditional activities was to play these large-scale jokes on the public and they were called capping stunts. For instance, my favorite is a story that begins. There is a group of work coming in the street near the campus digging up the road, blocking traffic. And then the same students, they go to the police. You left to imagine the chaos.
