Is Elijah the Messenger From God?

If I was told the guy, like the messenger of the Lord is going to come to you tomorrow and tell you something, I got a mitt. You know, when Elijah has his vision in chapter six and God says, who will go for us? Who shall I send in a light in Isaiah's like, you know, jumping up in the back raising his hand? Here am I send me send me! He regretted being just so exuberant about his willingness to be a prophet,. especially the very speech that God gives him after that basically says your job is going to be terrible.
