The Black Ivy, a Revoltan Style
In 1957, GQ trumpeted the dawn of a new fashion movement in America. This look was imported from England and it was called MOD. It included free button jackets, button down shirts, loafers, pointed shoes, fin tires. One of the essential inspirations for MOD was Ivy - an English shop that would provide bedrock to British countercultural trends.
