The Sixth Meditation Refutes Skepticism
I laid out all the aims of the book to refute skepticism, to find certain knowledge. And he also allows me to refute these specific characters, the meditations. So I wouldn't say that there is only one aim to the meditation. One of the aims is to ground science. The introduction of the soul as a subject in first philosophy was an important step for Descartes and Ignatius Loyola. We just don't read these early modern text much if you're you'd lied in its melab ranch.
