Theo Epstein and the Moneyball Revolution in Baseball
Moneyball was a revolution that as I recall was supposed to modernize baseball. It fixed baseball for teams trying to win baseball games, i.e. the Oakland A's who have less resources and did more with less. The innovations we're seeing now, it's not about winning baseball games because the commissioner of baseball and now Theo Epstein is consultant, they work for all of baseball. They work for the interests of entertainment. So it has everything to do with the entertainment attention span of someone watching a Disney movie or playing a video game or watching the Super Bowl.
