Developing Emotional Competence in Toddlers

In these toddler and pre school years, we're working a lot on this independence. This is a big stage where we're really working on emotional competence. Once they get aittle bit older, they'r little more adept with their fine and gross motor skills. Then you can start teaching things like, here's how we do it without getting jelly on the counter. Here's how we make our bed and make sure there's no wrinkles. But let them get really good at it for a while.
