David Blaine became famous in the late 90s for street magic. The idea was that instead of being, you know, in a studio and you get someone to sit down and do a contract, you go out in the street. He used to do card tricks and things like that. But then he branched out and he'd make things disappear. It's funny that a lot of the time in America and Britain you'll have more or less equivalents.
