The Importance of Saying Nothing

Grief already makes you feel isolated. So when people don't say anything, it's the evidence no one understands me. The only phrase we have is a very old fashioned Swedish 'My sorrow passes upon your heart on this day' If you don't like that phrase or if you don't know what to say, really the best thing to do in grief is to literally say what's in your head. Just say someone. I'm sorry for your loss.
