The Disappointment of the Referee

I didn't think it was an especially bad referee in performance. VA was there as a safety net, which it kind of needed to be. But I thought, mostly the big decisions he went for were right. You could tell that Newcastle were not happy with the draw. And quite honestly, I would say that I've seen far worse referee in performances this season. Yeah. Once you watched it back, you thought, I definitely, you know, there's absolutely no question about that at all. So because there was so much raging on it and because it was so high octane, I think it was just a really difficult game to referee.
