Leibniz: The freest will is unable without a determinative motive to give them birth. This axiom known by the name of the principle of sufficient reason extends even to actions which are considered indifferent. And this is why free will is starting to get connected to the Epicurean swerve again, just the kind of accident of something randomly happened. That's your free will. That's the idea of free will that can only exist in this totally determinist universe. It just happens because it's sort of random. And everything else is simply a chain of cause.
