Jeffrey Toobin: Joseph Smith's claim of what he saw is very part and parcel. And right now it's almost counter to the postmodern shift that Mormonism has taken, that has taken place in Mormonism. He says when you talk to them about Joseph Smith’s claim, they're very uncomfortable with that. Toobin: They don't kind of like want to have it. They want to have that idea, but not, not the consequences of it. The Mormon church doesn't claim to be Catholic or Latter-day Saints; It claims to be Jesus Christ.
