Nepal's Sherpas are getting paid $4,000 for medical coverage. That seems like a decent amount compared to the GDP per capita in Nepal, which is $1,200. But these Sherpas are supposed to be supporting their family and they can't afford it. One of the ideas that people have asked for is to implement a rule like China has.
