Why I Get FOMO
For me I found myself making plans with people and going to things not only so I didn't feel left out but because I wanted to keep a certain image of myself. My image on social media and how others perceived me was more important to me than just enjoying my life, she says. We as humans are made to care we want people to want us. FOMO comes in different forms including the natural desire to want to be accepted or from our past from triggers. There's been so many times where I'll be upset about something and I'm like why do I even care? She asks.
