What's the Difference Between Generations and Generations?

I think I don't know about generations, but there is to me very clearly a 10 year cycle. So in terms of when we think about like cultural generations, usually a generation is 30 years. It could be that in the tech world is actually 10 years. And what I remember in 2002 was, and it's funny because they sound like ancient and talking about AOL and Yahoo and these things,. people stopped saying that's where I'm going to go.
