Are There Other Ways to Interpret Matriarchal Cultures?
Cultures that are matri-focal which obviously means that they're focused more on women. You might also see another culture that's matrilineal which means that you would be tracing your ancestry through your mother like the Jewish tradition or you inherit your mother's name. So there have been a bunch of cultures though that exhibit features of matri locality, matriel linearity and the matriofocal emphasis I guess. Rian Eisler calls these the cultures of the chalice so a chalice of course is a cup or a vessel but even beyond that Yamalia.
