Taking Pleasure in God's Inspirations Is a Good and Pleasurable Act

The pleasure we take in inspirations is a great stride toward the glory of God, and that way we already begin to please his divine majesty. For although this delight is not yet full consent, it is a kind of disposition toward so consenting. So too, a gentleman is already well pleased with the lady whom he addresses and judges himself to be favored when he sees that she takes delight in his words to her. However, ultimately, consent is what perfects the virtuous act.
