The Dog Pro-Tomai in Stone Blind
In ancient greek mythology the word tritan effectively becomes pluralized like mermaid. It's a very strange phenomenon when you can think about it and I don't know how it translates to the rest of the mediterranean so I'd love to hear more but even though we're saying they don't have the kind of traditional idea of what we think of as mermaids but they do of mer men. The form in art is very different from her odyssey form which the odyssey form doesn't have any physical traits of being a dog as well.
