The search engine is now becoming more like a knowledge base and less like an index into all the web pages. The other big place we use AI without even noticing at all is in social media. Everything that's fed to us by our social media platform, whether it's YouTube recommending the next video to watch or Twitter organizing your feed. All of these algorithms are machine learning algorithms that have been trained by observing billions of users.
