The US Dollar Is Taking a Toll on the Global Economy

A strong dollar is causing inflation in the united states to be lower than it otherwise would be, cause it reduces import prices. But it's pushing inflation up everywhere else. And because the dollar is the currency of international trade, its taking lubrication out of the system. So this is going to complicate a macro economic management in many countries. There's going to becontinuing, i fear, a distress. I hope that at some point this policy package will be reversed. Or that somehow i am misjudging the situation. But i am very fearful for britain on the path that is travelling.
