The Importance of Knowing Yourself
I think that one of the things that is tough about rules is that they lack context and nuance. And so I think a lot of it comes down to knowing yourself and figuring out what's going to work for you. Not having sex on the first date makes sense for me. But there could be other people that have different goals or that don't, you know, for me when I've sex with someone, I can no longer objectively evaluate the situation. For other people, that's not true. So then like maybe that rule is not relevant for them.
