The Problem of Lack of Merit in Public Health
I think the, I have done a lot of anti-maridocratic stuff out there, and I wrote about age discrimination laws, right? People don't talk about it, but I think it's actually huge. I think labor laws in general, just making people hard-de-fire, just giving them an incumbency advantage if somebody wants to do the job work. So, yeah, I see a sort of as the problem of lack of merit, lack of merit more generally, and just people wanting to micromanage these outcomes. And that kind of premise is just going to predispose the field towards being more lefty.
