The Importance of Reading Texts
Philosophy is not an invitation to empathic connection and a worldview that might change your mind. Good texts understand that language isn't about only conceptualizing, right? And I thought that's what you were pointing to, but don't you think that most texts don't give us that experience? It's a good question and one that I kind of hadn't considered because I think because we were mainly talking about philosophy.
