Sam said that like all relationships in one way or another are guinea pigs. You're going into every new interaction as though you had never been in a relationship before. We learn how to love people by loving people. There's no manual, there's no 10 steps that take you into happiness or joy. It's incredibly personal, subjective and influenced by any experiences you had as a young person.
