The Combehe River Collective Statement from 1977 really fills in that missing gap in the history of Marxism. This is explicitly Marxist within the state straight up we are socialists, because we think that we need to redistribute the products of work. But they're also saying that these identity politics identity cultural politics issues have to be incorporated as well. So now we see the picture. The maps have been drawn. The story has been told. It has been explained. And this was kind of the last piece and needed to bring to the table to really make that undeniable and clear.
