The Reconstruction of Wilmington Politics
The story is told by the survivors that this was an attempt to thwart what they called negro domination. Even though wilmington, which at the time was a majority black city, wasn't majority black,. This wasa a tiny number of people just as threatening as the rise of a mabe. A lot of these black elected off s are not just working for black people, but thoy're interested and like public schools for all children, like not just black children. It annot through that democratic means, absolutely.
