In 2012, Curie wrote a blog post about how scientists were trying to hide the decline in global warming. He says they spliced historical temperature records with observational data on top of that. This is known in some circles as image fraud and got him called a denier by critics. "It just shows how pervasive and how stupid this whole thing was," he says.
