The Role of Public Education and Teachers in Reviving the Left
The CTU really led the way on in 2012, and I was worried that the assaults on teachers had undermined so much of that progress. But then with what's going on in Chicago and also Philly knock on wood, it's really incredible. We see the decade-long impacts of these struggles for public education translating into serious political power. They are starting to articulate a vision of why we have schools and what they should do.
