It's really hard that first time that you feel like you've been in, you've grown up under a set of rules and the rules just changed dramatic, right? Like the ability to reorient yourself is hard. And some people were quicker to realize the new normal than others. I think the two things I learned in the aftermath of those various downturn events are really the only periods in which you learn anything about anybody. So true. Why is this true? Well, shoot, when the sledding's easy, like, no one has to make hard decisions, right?
