Zocrates is a programming language in what we call the RAM register model. It executes in a way that refers to things like registers or variables and also has some access to memory. But it doesn't capture this idea of branching where I look at some value and depending on what I find, I either execute code A or I execute code B. The first projects that try to capture this kind of control flow were academic projects.
