Is It Necessary?
i don't see the relevance of wood polishing in my classroom. I also think tha children absorb what they pick up in their daily life and what they see around them. Things like flour ranging and washing windows and h hand washing, these are things that are non stopping use in our classroom. And i had a three year old who couldn't start snack time because she hadn't put the flowers on the table so she started her snack later. That sense of service is a beautiful idea - laying the foundations for them to give back to the community later. So'll beintereststing to see how that develops in em in the coming years.
